Mucho antes del gran triunfo con 'Playmate Of The Year', los cinco punks tocaron en la escena underground. Demasiado bueno para underground y todavía no preparado, tardó bastante a que les llegó la fama y se realizó el primer álbum de Zebrahead. En esta entrevista, Greg y Ali hablan de haber vuelto a Ámsterdam:

"The Record did take long to come out. But we wanted to see the fans so made some cool plans. It's our most personal album ever!"

En 2000 actuó en el festival de Lowlands y Toazted habló con el grupo sobre el éxito, la actuación, el nuevo álbum y...chicas:

"Playing live is the best experience. The whole process of recording, touring pays off when we're on stage. Since the beginning of the band it's pussy galore! hahaha..."
