En 2003 hicimos una entrevista con los hombres de Mudvayne sobre el álbum conceptual "The End Of All Things To Come". Incitó una discusión sobre la responsabilidad del grupo hacia sus fans:

"Everything we do has meaning on some level, but it's for us. We would rather not talk about it, but we allow you to figure it out for yourself and that makes it more personal for the listener."

"If we figure we've written a hit, we'll stick something in the middle of the song that will kill it because we don't care. We're not really commercial about writing the perfect radio hit, and then selling a million records, and then the next year people are going: 'Mud Who?'."
